Why I do research -

I want to better understand the influence that social determinants of health have on rehabilitation and participation in everyday life, and to develop and implement solutions to reduce the resulting inequities.

Social determinants of health are the contexts and conditions in which people live their lives and that affect their health.

Health inequities are differences in the health outcomes between people, or groups of people, that are avoidable and are linked to these social determinants.
